摘要
This paper discusses the results of an ongoing investigation into the collection and treatment of used B2B EEE in the EU. By engaging with these actors directly, the researchers have been able to explore existing networks which, in many cases, are not covered by existing WEEE legislation. These actors collect a secondary resource (used EEE) to reclaim value through reuse or recycling. The intention is to build on these findings to make recommendations to improve collection rates, visibility and standards of treatment (where necessary) in these systems; to improve resource efficiency for used B2B EEE and to avoid waste. This study is part of the wider FP7 funded ZeroWIN project.
