Risk of thrombosis in pediatric ALL patients--is there a problem!

parin (LMWH) during induction therapy, no thrombotic events were observed during 76 courses ASP therapy. One patient suffered a CNS infarct after discontinuation of LMWH. In a group of 50 historical control patients who had not received LMWH, two patients had TE. The significance of this intervention is still to be known [4].
