摘要
•This manuscript describes the novel finding that magnetic phase separation can significantly enhance the magnetocaloric effect in (Sc,Ti)Fe2.•The results of variable-temperature neutron diffraction establish the direct relationship between magnetic phase separation and magnetic entropy change.•This study suggests that magnetic phase separation can effectively achieve and control a large MCE in magnetic materials.
