摘要

•We examined accuracy of 12 homogeneous assays for HDL-C.•HDL-C levels were measured by homogeneous assays and CDC reference method.•Except for 3 reagents, homogeneous assays showed good analytical performance.•Our results are applicable only to healthy subjects and those with common disease.
