A rapid and sensitive UPLC-MS/MS method for determination of HZ08 in rat plasma and tissues: application to a pharmacokinetic study of liposome injections.

•A UPLC–MS/MS method was developed to determine HZ08 in rat plasma and tissues.•The total analysis time was 4.0min.•The method was applied to pharmacokinetic study of HZ08 in rats.•HZ08 had linear pharmacokinetic properties with a rapid elimination phase.•The major distribution tissues of HZ08 in rats were lung, spleen and liver.
