摘要
Etoricoxib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits the inducible form of cyclooxygenase (COX), COX-2. COX-2 inhibitors belong to the diaryl heterocycles, which are characterized by a central carbocyclic or heterocyclic core that joins 2 aryl groups together. Most of COX-2 inhibitors and particularly etoricoxib have been tested in patients with hypersensitivity to multiple NSAIDs who also had aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease1 and aspirin-induced urticaria and/or angioedema,2 with good tolerance.
