Synthesis Of Active Circuits By Combining Ugcs

In this paper we propose a novel idea for the synthesis of active circuits. We deal with the use of unity gain cells (voltage followers, voltage inverters, current followers, current inverters) for the design of simulated grounded inductors, multifunction filters and oscillators. The starting point of the proposed idea is the operation on the signal-flow graphs for such synthesis. We show that, thanks to the proposed technique, a wide number of active networks can be synthesised where all used passive components are grounded.
