Application of frequency-domain homotopy inversion to real data

摘要
Frequency-domain homotopy inversion is a method to reconstruct velocity information of subsurface structure from seismic data. Unlike the full waveform inversion with the steepest descent method, the homotopy inversion method does not need iterative updates of the velocity model. This method directly solves velocity difference between true and starting velocity model. We verified the feasibility of the homotopy inversion method for the field data by testing marine field data set.
