Determination Of The Room Temperature Thermal Conductivity Of Ruo2 By The Photothermal Deflection Technique

A thermal conductivity study of RuO2 single crystals has been carried out via the photothermal deflection technique in transverse configuration at room temperature. The thermal diffusivity and conductivity of RuO2 crystals are determined to be 0.17 cm(2) s(-1) and 0.50 W cm(-1) K-1, respectively. Furthermore, it was found that the thermal conductivity has inversely proportional temperature dependence in the region between 50 and 300 K.
