摘要

The influence of the structure on the catalytic methane activation coupling activity has been shown for LaYO (0 ⩽ ⩽ 1) compounds. A perovskite structure leads to total oxidation (CO, CO) whereas a bixbyite structure results in C hydrocarbon formation. This change in selectivity is interpreted in terms of the difference in oxygen environment of lanthanum in the two stuctures.
