Bioactive Ca-, P-, and Si-containing hydrogels based on silicon glycerolates and hydroxyapatite

The dispersive phase and the dispersive medium of the combined Ca-, P-, and Si-containing hydrogels obtained from silicon glycerolates in an excess of glycerol and hydroxyapatite colloid solution have been isolated and investigated by means of a number of physicochemical and physical methods. The formation mechanism and hydrogel framework scheme have been proposed.
