Restless legs syndrome and pregnancy or delivery complications in China: a representative survey

•This study examined the prevalence of restless legs syndrome in Chinese pregnant women.•Restless legs syndrome frequency increased with the age of the pregnant women.•A positive relationship was found between restless legs syndrome and some pregnancy complications.•Elevated ESS scores were found in groups with frequent restless legs syndrome.
