Understanding the multispectral forward scatter patterns by diffraction theory

We present a comprehensive theoretical modeling of spectral light scattering phenomena from bacterial colonies. Individual colony is modeled as spatial light modulator, and effect of elevation, diameter, and refractive index of a colony were analyzed.
