Simulation research on electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of electronic equipment case

In this paper, HFSS is used to simulate the shielding effectiveness of an electronic control case of diesel engine. The shielding effectiveness of cracks and air vents of control case is simulated under the different interference frequency. The simulation results offered resonance frequency points of a certain gap width, and demonstrated the influence of different shape of the hole and the number of holes on the shielding performance. Finally, we made the reasonable suggestions to design the electronic control case of diesel engine.
