Experimental measurements of ultra-short pulse from an all-normal-dispersion Yb-doped fiber laser with SHG-FROG using principal component generalized projections algorithm

摘要
We use second-harmonic generation frequency-resolved optical gating (SHG-FROG) to measure an all-normal-dispersion Yb-doped fiber laser. Principal component generalized projections algorithm (PCGPA) is used in the two-dimensional phase retrieval. Good convergence is obtained between the experimental frog trace and the reconstructed trace. Thus the intensity and the phase of the electric field are derived. The output pulses of the laser have a linear chirped profile with a pulse width of 40ps.
