An Nsf-Sponsored Summer Research Program For Undergraduates: Evolution And Refinement

This paper reports the organization of an undergraduate research summer program in 2010 at the University of Texas at Dallas, which is the second iteration of a three-year project sponsored by the National Science Foundation. The primary research subject is "Verification and Validation for Software Safety." A special focus is on the evolution and refinement using lessons learned from the previous program. In keeping with this trend, we also list our plans for future programs.
