Prospect for Polarized Beam Acceleration at the Kek Ps

Polarized deuteron‐beam acceleration is scheduled at the KEK PS in 1995. No depolarizing resonances are expected if the vertical betatron tune is chosen to be at 6.25. Polarimeters are now being prepared. The acceleration of polarized protons has been reconsidered in the context of a partial snake. Two possibilities, solenoid and helical snakes, have been examined.
