摘要
•Heat/mass transfer analogy is experimentally verified for flow over a flat plate.•Thermal boundary layer technique is used to measure local heat transfer coefficient.•Naphthalene sublimation measurement is used to find local mass transfer coefficient.•The measured analogy factor for a laminar boundary layer is determined to be 0.677.•The analogy factor for a turbulent boundary layer is found to be a constant, 0.667.
