摘要
Development of electromembrane extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet (UV) detection is presented for determination of pyridine compounds. An impinger device was employed for trapping the basic compounds exist in cigarette smoke. To make the basic analytes migrate from neutral sample solution through the organic liquid membrane which consists of 2-nitrophenyl octyl ether (NPOE) and 10 % di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (DEHP) and into acidic acceptor phase, 100 V electrical potential was applied for 20 min. Under optimal conditions preconcentration factors in the range of 647–807 were obtained for pyridine and its derivatives, which corresponded to extraction recoveries of 27.0–33.7 %. The method offers acceptable linearity in the range of 0.5–300 ng mL −1 for pyridine, 1–500 ng mL −1 for 3-methylpyridine and 5–500 ng mL −1 for 1, 4-lutidine and quinoline with correlation of determination value higher than 0.9960 and relative standard deviation less than 4.2 %. Finally, it was applied for analysis of pyridine compounds in cigarette extract.
