Dielectric And Piezoelectric Properties Of Mno2-Added Non-Stoichiometric (K0.5na0.5)(0.97)(Nb0.96sb0.04) O-3 Ceramics

In this study, the non-stoichiometric composition [(K0.5Na0.(5))(0.97)(Nb0.96Sb0.04)] 03 + 0.8 mol% CuO x mol% MnO2 + 0.2 wt% Ag2O ceramics were fabricated (where x = 0, 0.3, 0.6, and 0.9, respectively). Also, their dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated. For 0.6-mol% MnO2-doped [(K0.5Na0.5)(0.97)(Nb0.96Sb0.04)]O-3 (abbreviated as KNNS) ceramics sintered at 1080 C the bulk density (p), the electromechanical coupling coefficient (kp), the mechanical quality factor (Qm), the dielectric constant (epsilon(r)) and the piezoelectric constant (d(33)) showed excellent values of 4.453 g/cm(3) and 0.438, 545, 404, and 80 pC/N, respectively.
