Geodesic motion and scattering in the field of a Kaluza–Klein dyon

摘要
The Kaluza-Klein dyon is the only stationary solution of the sourceless Jordan-Thiry field equations with a constant scalar field. The geodesic motion of photons and charged test particles in this five-dimensional space-time is discussed, and the classical cross section for forward scattering of a charged particle is computed.
