Background and objectives: Sialoendoscopy is a minimally invasive technique that allows exploration of the salivary ducts and the treatment of inflammatory sialadenitis, sialolithiasis and major salivary glands ductal stenosis. The main objectives are to perform a diagnostic examination of the duct, elimination of possible stenosis or obstructions and to improve glandular function.
