Pilot-scale experiments for post-combustion CO2 capture from gas fired power plants with a novel solvent

摘要
•We introduce a solvent to reduce both the regeneration energy and solvent flow rate.•The resulting numbers for ACOR100 have been compared with MEA.•We test novel solvent ACOR100 based on the mixture of MEA, TETA, AMPD and PZEA.•Results of the ACOR100 show a reduction of 25% in the regeneration energy demand.•Also, the resulting numbers indicate a reduction of 27% in the solvent flow rate.
