摘要
•This work assessed the usefulness of the delayed neutron signal for quantifying isotopic masses of three fissile materials in a sample.•A genetic algorithm was used to find the combination of fissile masses that best fit the delayed neutron signal.•For the first time, the uncertainties associated with this method were published.•The sensitivity of the algorithm to various nuclear data, particularly the relative delayed neutron group abundances, was also investigated.
