摘要
Some recent developments in the investigation of nuclear-medium effects in the formation of hadronic resonances on nuclei are discussed. Applications of the two-component formula proposed recently by Boreskov ct nl. for the mass distribution of resonance-decay products are considered. In particular, the collision broadening of baryon resonances in the total cross sections for photoabsorption on nuclei and medium effects (mass shift and broadening) in the production of omega, rho, and phi resonances in pion-nucleus collisions are analyzed.
