摘要

•Mesoporous silica particles (MSPs) were synthesized by sol–gel method coupled with PICA.•The prepared MSPs were spherical, monodisperse, with low metal content.•Using the MSPs as stationary phase could improve peak tailing in HPLC.•Particle size and pore structure could be controlled by adjusting preparation parameters.
