W. Zhang, X. Jiang, and co-workers present a general strategy on page 890 to fabricate tubular structures with multiple types of cells as different layers of the structure walls using a stress-induced rolling membrane technique. Cell orientation inside the tubes can also be controlled by topographical contact guidance. These layered tubes precisely mimic the structure of blood vessels and therefore have great potential for use in tissue engineering.
