Mo1568 is Helicobacter Pylori Infection Associated with Adenomatous Colorectal Polyps?

Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection is associated with the development of gastric cancer. Chronic HP infection promotes hypergastrinemia which is implicated in promoting development of colon polyps. Association between HP and colorectal adenomas or neoplasia is controversial. Previous smaller studies have reported conflicting relationship between HP infection and adenomatous colorectal polyps. The purpose of our study was to ascertain the relationship between HP infection and colorectal adenomas in a larger cohort.
