Tu1375 Mitomycin C Application Improves the Outcome of Highly Refractory and Recurrent Benign Esophageal Strictures
Gastrointestinal endoscopy(2014)
摘要
Complex benign esophageal strictures represent a subset of esophageal strictures which are often recurrent and refractory to dilation. Several pilot studies including a recent randomized controlled trial in the pediatric population demonstrated that topical Mitomycin C application resulted in a substantial decrease in stricture recurrence and improvement of dysphagia. [1]Aim: To investigate the outcome of topical Mitomycin C application on benign complex esophageal strictures which were recurrent or refractory to prior standard dilation.
