Position optimization for mobile relay by utilizing one-bit feedback information

This paper investigates the problem of position optimization of mobile relay. We propose a new mobile relay system with fixed orbit, in which only single on-board antenna and one bit feedback signal are required. The proposed system is very suitable for a scenario in which the energy of source node is constrained or even weak, just like a disaster area, because it has satisfactory performance with low cost and low complexity. Because of the easy implementation of the proposed system, we further propose two novel implementation algorithms by utilizing only one bit feedback information. Through theoretical analysis and simulation experiments, the proposed two algorithms will be analyzed carefully and their superiority will also be verified.
