Distance transform network for shape analysis.

•A new shape descriptor using networks and euclidean distance transform is proposed.•Each isoline from the distance transform of the contour is modeled as a network.•The feature vectors are composed by degree measures of dynamical network evolution.•Results show that proposed method is robust and has high performance.
