Mechanisms of pulmonary fibrosis induced by core fucosylation in pericytes.

•These results demonstrate that pericytes are the primary source of myofibroblasts in a BLM-induced mouse model of pulmonary fibrosis.•This study is the first to provide data indicating that core fucosylation regulates pericyte transition during pulmonary fibrosis.•Additionally, blocking core fucosylation is protective against pulmonary fibrosis.
