•Feasibility and effects on sleepiness and cognition of CPAP in PD plus OSA subjects are investigated.•Feasibility of CPAP treatment can be significantly threatened by overall attrition rates.•PD subjects with higher educational and cognitive levels could be better candidates for CPAP treatment.•No changes on cognition or subjective sleepiness were found at three months follow up.
