Twenty-seven derivatives of quaternary palmatine were synthesized and tested for their antibacterial activity, XBP1-activiting activity, and anti-UC efficacy, with biological and pharmacological activities and some explicit influencing factors on improving activity being obtained. MIC (μg/ml) on S. aureus: 3e, 62.5; 5g, 7.81; 9g, 15.63. Anti-UC activity was displayed for 8.
