An elderly lady with intracranial peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor arising from the clivus with intracranial metastasis: A case report with review of literature.

•Intracranial pPNET is a rare tumor, with skull base being a rarer site.•pPNET arising from the clivus has not been reported previously.•pPNETs are tumors of children and young adults and rarely occur in elderly adults.•Metastasis from intracranial peripheral PNET is very rare.•Maximal safe resection followed by adjuvant chemoradiation is the treatment of choice.
