摘要
Meningiomas are the most common extra-axial, primary brain tumors and develop from arachnoid cap cells. They represent nearly 30% of all adult primary intracranial tumors and approximately 0.4–4.6% of all child and adolescent tumors [1,2]. The World Health Organization (WHO) grades meningiomas as Grade I (benign, 90%), Grade II (atypical, 5–7%), and Grade III (anaplastic, 3%) [4]. This classification system is based on tumor cell type, cellularity, mitotic activity, necrosis, and brain invasion [3].
