Sleep disturbances in patients with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures: Is it all subjective? A prospective pilot study of sleep-wake patterns.

•Poor quality sleep is commonly reported as a problem in patients with PNES.•Compared to those with epilepsy, PNES patients showed greater sleep onset latency.•Otherwise, sleep architecture was similar between PNES and epilepsy patients.•Overall, we found limited objective evidence supporting the sleep complaints in PNES.
