摘要
Wind energy represents the most promising source of green energy, many research projects are conducted for a better exploitation of this energy. Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is widely used in the wind power extraction systems thanks to its high efficiency. But, the employment of complex electronics makes the control of a DFIG challenging due to its nonlinearity. To resolve this issue, intelligent methods are implemented to replace conventional controllers such as the PI controller. a well- known intelligent method is fuzzy logic. Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) implements expert human knowledge to control a system’s behavior. In this paper, we implemented a manually tuned FLC on the rotor side converter (RSC) of a DFIG. Then, to evaluate the performance of the proposed controller, we compared the obtained results with results from using a PI controller. The comparison results showed a slight improvement in reference tracking and overall power output.
