There is a need for simple and reliable geriatric scales to help in the choice of therapy of hematologic malignancies (HM) in daily clinical practice. The Geriatric Assessment in Hematology (GAH) has been recently shown to be a brief, valid, internally reliable, and consistent scale for this purpose (Bonanad, J Geriatr Oncol, 2015).
