Ultrawide Angle, Directional Spectrum Splitting with Visible-Frequency Versatile Metasurfaces

We propose and experimentally realize a virtually flat metasurface which can split different visible-frequency photons to completely different or even contrary directions with ultra-wide angular range (>90 degrees). The phase gradients provided by the metasurface have been engineered to exhibit significant wavelength-selective features.
