Mo1987 Accuracy of a New Fujiifilm Blue Light Prototype in Predicting the Histology of Subcentimetric Polyps

Prediction of histology of subcentimetric polyps at colonoscopy allows substantial saving due to the ‘resect and discard’ strategies. Recently, a new FUJIIFILM electronic-chromoendoscopy prototype system – based on a new blue led light – has been created, in order to enhance the mucosal and vascular contrast. The possibility to exploit also an optical zoom may be of further help in polyp characterization.
