摘要
Polypropylene/polyethylene non-woven selvage fragments (PP/PE NSF) are blended with different ratios of activated carbon (AC) and chitosan (CS) respectively, and then placed in poly mesh to fabricate PP/PE/AC and PP/PE/CS composite sorbents. Results indicate that when PP/PE NSF are blended with CS, the oil adsorbency was more effective than that of AC. Additionally, oil analysis demonstrates that both AC and CS can decrease the content of Mn, Ni, Cr and Cu ions; because the metal ions were absorbed by PP/PE/AC and PP/PE/CS composite sorbents. However, AC was superior and reduced the Ni and Cr content by 40.4% and 44.1%, respectively. For oil adsorption rate, the PP/PE/CS composite sorbents were best.
