Two new benzoyl glucuronosyl glycerols from the leaves of Garcinia buchananii Baker

•Polar constituents of the leaves of G. buchananii have been investigated•Two new benzoyl glucuronosyl glycerols were isolated and identified from the leaves of G. buchananii using spectroscopic data analysis.•Helicioside, quercetin-6-C-β-d-glucopyranoside, apigenin-8-C-β-d-glucopyranosyl-2″-O-L-rhamnopyranoside and vitexin were identified for the first time in G. buchananii.
