摘要

•SCPs did not increase satisfaction with information provision or care in ovarian cancer patients.•SCPs led to a lower trust in the treatment among ovarian cancer patients.•Our trial results suggest that patients may not benefit from an SCP as was proposed by the National Academy of Medicine.
