Influence of genetic operators on the resolution process for the fixed charge transportation problem

The fixed charge transportation problem is an optimization problem that arises in many economic areas especially logistics and transport. It is classified as a combinatorial problems that are difficult to solve with exact methods, therefore genetic algorithms can treat FCTP, in this paper, we are interested by the parameters of genetic algorithms to solve combinatorial problems in general and especially in case FCTP, and we have exploited the representation (PB-GA) proposed by Gen et al. [1] which is adapted to the FCTP by Lotfia and Tavakkoli [2] for generating a space of solution used to solve the FCTP by genetic algorithms GAs [3].
