摘要
•The alkaline protease was purified by single step making the process cost effective.•The molecular weight of the protease was found to 53kDa.•The alkaline protease gene of 1152bp was successfully cloned in E. coli DH5α.•Enzyme was broadly stable, compatible with surfactants and commercial detergents.•Molecular simulations also depicted enzyme stability for few nanosecounds.
