Method of Indoor Localization Using Signal Indication for the Internet of Things

The paper is to estimate users' location using the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) values of IEEE 802.15.4-based module which has drawn attention in configuration of a low speed local sensor network focusing on low cost and general usability which are often considered in realizing a system for indoor positioning, the core technology of Location Based Service (LBS). To increase the reliability of the RSSI values, mutual relations have been analyzed using Link Quality Indicators (LQI). Then, it has been tried to propose a more improved indoor positioning plan. In addition, this paper has analyzed a possibility of the localization system which could be applicable to diverse indoor environment.
