摘要

•The effect of acidic gases on KHI performance is investigated by means of a Crystal Growth Inhibition (CGI) method.•For different CO2 and H2S containing gas systems, three possible controlling factors are evaluated.•It is concluded that guest gas composition and cage occupancy patterns seem to play the most important role.
