Background: Optimal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performance is the foundation of successful resuscitation from cardiopulmonary arrest. Unfortunately, suboptimal performance of compressions is common among healthcare providers. Better training techniques and real-time CPR feedback may improve compression performance.
