BACKGROUND CONTEXT: When correcting sagittal plane deformities, various rod reduction sequence towers and in situ rod benders are often used. Sequence is based upon surgeon preference and training. While differing sequences has no effect on final correction, it may influence construct strains and impart loads differently across screw-bone interfaces throughout the construct.
